Role Overview

Reporting to the Digital Systems Lead, the EHS Digital Platform Specialist will administer, configure, and optimize NexGen’s Integrated Management System (IMS) digital ecosystem, with a primary focus on the Cority platform. This EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) technology role ensures system integrity, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement to support Health, Safety, and Radiation, Environment, Compliance and Permitting, and Project Development functions. The Specialist will collaborate with EHS stakeholders, IT, and subject matter experts to deliver scalable solutions aligned with regulatory and organizational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

(Including but not limited to)
  • Ensure effective administration of all software systems in the IMS digital systems portfolio.
  • Support all aspects of the Cority system, actioning support requests, user management, reviewing change requests, ensuring data security is maintained at all times.
  • Assist in the development and rollout of enhancement solutions for the system. This can include Cority specific functions such as workflows, layouts, system rules, API services, and more.
  • As part of data governance, validate EHS data flow for completeness to ensure accurate regulatory reporting is being correctly read from available datasets.
  • Support the development of EHS metrics, create custom dashboard reports (e.g. Cority, PowerBI, Microsoft 365 apps, etc), and provide appropriate access.
  • Coordinate between systems owners, stakeholders, SMEs, and software suppliers to deliver improvement on IMS-related systems.
  • As assigned, provide support for IT system configuration, testing, and implementation.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or demonstrated experience in a related field.
  • 2-5 years of direct experience as an administrator in an ERP and/or HSEQ system. A Cority Platform Administrator or similar system certification is desirable
  • Experience with governance reporting of ERP and/or HSEQ systems.
  • Knowledge of ISO management systems is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft365 suite, BI tools, and the ability to learn new/adapt to new software.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems through collaboration and effective coordination across multiple stakeholders.
